Great location for visiting your college kids at SIU-Carbondale. 10 Minute drive from campus, yet you get the luxury of peaceful, quiet surroundings. Ann’s AirBNB photos were exactly as pictured. Cozy with all the amenities needed.
Ann’s place is absolutely beautiful and so comfortable! She has made this space feel so welcoming yet private from her residence. The beds are super comfy and so many pillows and blankets. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals and the back porch is perfect for coffee in the morning! Thank you Ann!
Ann’s cabin quickly became our favorite Airbnb. It is secluded, peaceful, and Ann is a terrific host. She was always quick to respond and all around extremely accommodating. The cabin has so many special touches that make you feel at home, yet elegant. The property is quiet, making your stay a relaxing one. We will definitely try to stay here any time we are in town.

I can’t say enough amazing things about this peaceful cabin. There is thoughtfulness in every single aspect of this home for the guests. Everything provided was top of the line. This cabin was so cozy and inviting, it felt like home. We even stayed an extra night, because of how welcoming this space felt. The woods behind the house was very peaceful and a perfect match for the beautiful wrap around porch. Ann, the host, was tremendous at communicating and was great to work with.

Ann’s place was amazing. It is as beautiful and tranquil as the pictures. It rained our first night which made the small stream sounds so peaceful. We grilled and drank our coffee on the porch. The inside was cozy. We were looking for a secluded, peaceful weekend away from the city and Ann’s place was idyllic. While it is secluded, we were easily able to drive to a lot of attractions like the Garden of the Gods, the Little Grand Canyon, and kayaking in Ullin. TY!
Ann was super responsive and helpful. The space was tranquil and a perfect getaway if you’re looking to get out of the city.

Our stay at Moss Creek 2.0 was perfect in every way.
Host: Ann was the sweetest host, offered all the details we needed and was prompt with all communication. Bonus: the host lives just up the lane should you need anything during your stay.
Location: This spot is the perfect distance between the SIU campus and the Shawnee Hills Wine Trail. The cabin is private, surrounded by nature, and has that “off the beaten path” feel, yet is still just a short drive to the main roads. Another perk: it’s super close to some beautiful hiking trails in Giant City State Park.
Cabin: The cabin itself is gorgeous; it has quite literally everything you could need. Some of the high notes: comfy beds and furniture, fully stocked kitchen, amazing deck/patio area, beautifully decorated.
From check in to check out, this stay was easy, relaxing and picture perfect. Will definitely be staying again! 🙂
